An India-centric syllabus has been designed by the Jamia especially for the ISS. Each module will be delivered through a series of lectures and a total of 12 academic credits will be awarded by the Jamia to those students who successfully complete every module.

Events that showcase India’s rich culture and heritage as well as visits and excursions to sites of touristic importance have been scheduled throughout the six-week programme. A visit to the Taj Mahal and to the Pink City of Jaipur will undoubtedly be among the highlights of the programme.

Students will volunteer with Ritinjali as part of its community development initiatives. This experience will also be an assessed component of the programme and, therefore, eligible for academic credit.
